Hi,
Today I'll show you an animal printed mauve manicure.
I started with two coats of Illamasqua - Faux and then I stamped the design
from m57 image plate with Special White. I finished with a clear top coat

THEATRE OF THE NAMELESS Fall/Winter 2011

Hi,
Today I'll show you the new nail polish collection from Illamasqua, called Theatre
of the nameless. It contains 4 vibrant shades for the new season. They are
hardwearing and chip-resistant with individual finishes from matt
to high gloss. Here they are:

Vice is a deep cherry color with a rubber finish. It's intense and eye-catching, perfect
for fall.

Kink, a deep green with rubber finish, too, that really looks pretty.

Taint is a nude color for those that don't want to wear intense colors. It's a brown that goes matte after it dries.

Last but not least, Faux. This is actually my favourite shade from this collection. The blue violet color mattifies after drying.

I also treid them with my Konad kit and here's how they look like when stamped.

In the end, I like them all. As always, Illamasqua nail polishes can be easily applied and the
dry-time is fast. The textures are delighting me, too.

Golden Chameleon

I. LOVE. THIS. MANICURE. I haven't done glitter in a while and thought I'd come back with a bang. The results of this manicure are so multifaceted and shiny, it's nearly blinding. Well, not really, but it is very pretty. I was inspired by a dress I purchased recently that had a slate/gray base and rust colored birds. The contrast was so pretty, I decided to try and replicate it. Sometimes I have troubles finding just one photo I like, but this time it was the opposite. All photos were pretty and showed a different vantage of the manicure. So I'm including a lot of photos!

First I taped off my nails and painted two coats of of Zoya Kelly and added LA Splash Cosmetics nail glitter in Onyx. After it dried completely (the truth is after I finished my chores), I taped over the painted portion and added three coats of China Glaze Foxy and added a few pieces of glitter I purchased from Ester's Nail Center in a orange/rust color (they have no name, but in the photo on the site, it's the pot in the lower right corner) and in the spaces left I filled in with LA Spash Cosmetics nail glitter in Pot O' Gold. I then painted the entire nail with one coat of Seche Vite.

Apples And Oranges

....and a bunch of other fruits. I'm trying to hold on to summer as long as possible, but when September hit us and it being labor day weekend now, it's hard. Things are in transition, kids are going back to school, days are getting shorter again. But the other day I picked up these scented polishes and I though this fruit salad manicure was a great way to keep up my summer spirits.

Right Hand:

Left Hand

I painted a base coat on all fingers but my ring of China Glaze's Lemon Fizz; two coats. Then I added two more coats of Revlon Scented Nail Enamel in Pineapple Fizz. On my ring fingers, I painted two coats of China Glaze Breakin' and then added one coat of Revlon Scented Nail Enamel in Watermelon Fizz. I used Konad Plate m55 and the following colors for the fruit:

Strawberry: Zoya Tamsen

Kiwi: Konad Special Stamping polish in Apple Green

Watermelon: Special Stamping polish in Apple Green, Psyche Pink and Black

Grapes: Special Stamping polish in Apple Green and Zoya Yasmeen

Blueberry: Special Stamping polish in Apple Green and Coral Blue, Zoya Yasmeen

Oranges: China Glaze Breakin', China Glaze Japanese Koi, China Glaze Papaya Punch

Apples: Special Stamping Polish in Apple Green, Zoya Paris, Zoya Tamsen

Psychedelic

This manicure was so pretty and depending on how the light was hitting it, the colors could change. Blue, purple, pink. Very fun.

With flash:

I painted three coats of China Glaze Blue Iguana and then added Bundle Monster plate BM 223 with Konad Special Stamping Polish in Psyche Pink. I finished the look with one coat of Seche Vite.
