Essence -Jacob's Protection (Breaking Dawn Collection)

Hi,
Happy New Year! Today I'll show you Jacob's Protection from Essence's Breaking Dawn Collection. (two coats in the picture)

I won this a while ago in a giveaway organised by Shannara from Nails and Stuff. She also sent me
Alice had a vision, which is another beautiful shade and I'm eager to try it.

After having applied two coats of Jacob's Protection, I took my sponge and applied Avon
-Arabian glow on the tips. Then, I stamped the stars from m14 Konad plate using Special White.
Finally, I applied the Konad -Special top coat. What do you think about my New Year's eve
manicure?

Christmas lights nail art

Hi,
Today I'll show you my holiday lights manicure. My inspiration for this was
Pushing Polish. I started with a base coat and then, using a sponge, I applied
white nail polish on the tips of the nails. Then, I created a black curved line
on each nail, using a thin brush. I randomly applied colourful rhinestones and
finished with a clear top coat. What do you think?

Winter nail arts + How to create an outlined design

Hi,
This is going to be an unusually long post, including a lot of pictures. Here, in
Romania, it has been snowing incredibly beautiful for the past 24 hours. That
inspired me to create a snowmen nail art.

I started with two coats of Flormar #431. Then, I applied a layer of a white
crackling nail polish from Born Pretty in order to create the snow effect.

I used m12 Konad plate for the snowmen. The stamping technique is shown
in the bellow picture. Firstly, I stamped the design using Special White. Then,
I filled in the design using a white nail polish. Lastly, I restamped the snowmen
design using Special Black, to create an outline effect. This is not as difficult
as it seems, and don't worry if you don't manage to stamp the design exactly
on the line of the previous one. Fill in the comforter with two different colours.
I used orange and green and applied them using a small dotting tool.

This is the final result. I finished with a clear top coat. What do you think about
my snowmen nail art?

I also wanted to include some pictures of the beautiful scenery I see
from my windows. I really love snow!

Here's a snowflake design I created for my best friend the day before. You
might have seen it on my Facebook page, as I already posted it. For this, I
started with a sponged white layer on the tips and then I stamped the snowflakes
from m59 Konad plate using black, pink and blue. Do you like them?

then I applied the Black Crackling Nail Polish from Born Pretty on a sponge and
tapped over the nail. I cleared the mess on my cuticles using a brush and acetone.
Finally, I applied a clear top coat. This is the result. What do you think?

Go Pink Wednesday -Pink zebra nails

Hi,
Today I'll show you my white and pink animal print nail art for this Wednesday.
I started with a coat of Born Pretty -Matt Dull White and then, using a sponge, I
made some pink lines either on the middle of the nails, or on their extremities. For this
step I used Sinful Colors -Cream Pink. Then, using Stripe Rite -Black, I created
the zebra print. I did this freehand. In order that I got the lines thicker at the margin
and thinner at the center, I had to apply more pressure on the brush when I painted
the margin and less and less pressure as I went to the center. I finished with a
clear top coat. What do you think?

TUTORIAL: Create splatter nails using a straw

Hi,
Today I'll show you my newest creation: splatter nails. After seeing some tutorials
on Youtube, I've decided to make one, too.

All you need for this is a straw, scissors and
somne different nail polish colours. The splatter won't work if you use the straw as it is,
you have to cut it diagonally. The actual technique is a simple one: you introduce the
straw into the nail polish bottle and then you blow in the other side of the straw.

I previously created a white base coat on my nails and, using a sponge, I created a gradient effect
with a green neon colour. The nail polished used were Matt Dull White from Born Pretty and
It's So Easy -Hot Green. I created the splatter using a black colour. I recommend that, before
you start blowing nail polish on your nails, you should apply tape in your cuticles.
This will make it easier for you to clean all the mess.

I did the same design on my best friend's nails, but I used pink instead of green.
The nail polish used was Sinful Colors -Cream pink.

What do you think? Which one do you like better?

Wild animal print manicure

Today I'll show you a gradient animal print manicure which the girl from
LuvMyLacquer inspired me to do. I painted my nails a coat of Illamasqua -Gamma
and Illamasqua -Radium alternatively. Then, using a sponge, I created the gradient effect
using the technique shown in the picture below. The polishes I used for the gradient
were Astor -060 Iconic Red and Sinful Colors -Happy Ending. Then I stamped
the leopard design on the green nails and the zebra design on the orange nails. Both
designs are from Konad m57 image plate. I finished with the Konad -Special Top Coat.
