Christmas nail art

Hi,
Today I'll show you another Christmas nail art I created. I started with
two coats of Illamasqua -Scorch on all nails except my thumb and ring finger,
where I applied Sinful Colors -Ruby Ruby. The image plates used for each
finger are, from left to right: m12, m59, m14 Konad plates and an Essence
plate for my pinkie. I used Illamasqua -Allarm for the designs stamped with
red and Konad Special White. I finished with a clear top coat.

Candy canes -Christmas manicure

Hi,
Today I'll show you another Christmas themed nail art: Candy canes swirls. For this
manicure, I firstly applied two coats of Illamasqua -Scorch (about  which I wrote a
review here) and then I started creating the swirls using thin brushes. The nail polishes
used were Illamasqua -Allarm (red), Oriflame -Silver lining and Sinful Colors -Last
Chance (green). I finished with a clear top coat and then went outside to take some
pictures in the snow! The lightning wasn't exactly the best possible, but I hope
you'll like what you'll see. What do you think about it?

Sinful Colors -Frenzy

Hi,
Today I'll show you glittery manicure I very easily created using two different nail
polishes. I started with two coats of Illamasqua -Scorn and then I applied 2 layers
of Sinful Colors -Frenzy. As simple as that. The final result is very effective and the
glitter looks awesome no matter what the lightning is. Click on the pictures
to zoom. What do you think?

I also created a special effect for this picture and posted it on my Facebook
page. You can see it here. Tell me whether you like it or not.

How to create balloons on nails in 3 easy steps

Hi,
Today I'll show you my colourful balloon nail art which I very easily created.
If you like this manicure, keep reading for the tutorial.

Step 1
Paint all your nails a white base colour. For this, I used Illamasqua -Scorch. After
they have dried, apply french manicure tips on all of your nails, exactly the way I did.

Step 2
Chose different nail polish colours to paint the part above the tape. Wait until
they have dried. The nail polishes I used (from left to right): Illamasqua -Faux pas,
Astor #070, Illamasqua -Radium and Sinful Colors -Timbleberry.

Step 3
Remove the tape and create a thin line under each balloon with the colour
you used for that nail. Also, paint a grey or black wavy line. Use a nail art brush for this.
Finish with a clear top coat. The nail polish I used for creating the line is called Zoya -Kelly.

What do you think? Are you going to try them?

Go Pink Wednesday -Pink zebra nails

Hi,
Today I'll show you my white and pink animal print nail art for this Wednesday.
I started with a coat of Born Pretty -Matt Dull White and then, using a sponge, I
made some pink lines either on the middle of the nails, or on their extremities. For this
step I used Sinful Colors -Cream Pink. Then, using Stripe Rite -Black, I created
the zebra print. I did this freehand. In order that I got the lines thicker at the margin
and thinner at the center, I had to apply more pressure on the brush when I painted
the margin and less and less pressure as I went to the center. I finished with a
clear top coat. What do you think?

Sprayed nails TUTORIAL (Autumn Design)

Hi,
Today I'll show you a new technique for an original, cute manicure.
1. Paint your nails two coats of any nail polish you like. I used Glitter Gal -Skater Girl Green.
You can see its swatch here
2. Take a perfume sample bottle that has an atomizer and one or two different nail polishes
to spray over the base colour.
3. Poor the nail polish in the perfume sample bottle so as to fill about a quarter of it.
4. Apply some scotch tape on your cuticles for protection.
5. Spray the nail polish on the nails.
6*. If you want to spray another colour, poor a small quantity of acetone in the perfume
sample bottle and clean it using an ear stick. Repeat steps 3-5.
The nail polishes I used for spraying are Sinful Colors -Rich in heart and Illamasqua -Gamma.
7. After it is all done, apply a clear top coat to protect your design and add a beautiful shine.
What do you think? Are you going to try it?

TUTORIAL: Create splatter nails using a straw

Hi,
Today I'll show you my newest creation: splatter nails. After seeing some tutorials
on Youtube, I've decided to make one, too.

All you need for this is a straw, scissors and
somne different nail polish colours. The splatter won't work if you use the straw as it is,
you have to cut it diagonally. The actual technique is a simple one: you introduce the
straw into the nail polish bottle and then you blow in the other side of the straw.

I previously created a white base coat on my nails and, using a sponge, I created a gradient effect
with a green neon colour. The nail polished used were Matt Dull White from Born Pretty and
It's So Easy -Hot Green. I created the splatter using a black colour. I recommend that, before
you start blowing nail polish on your nails, you should apply tape in your cuticles.
This will make it easier for you to clean all the mess.

I did the same design on my best friend's nails, but I used pink instead of green.
The nail polish used was Sinful Colors -Cream pink.

What do you think? Which one do you like better?

Wild animal print manicure

Hi,
Today I'll show you a gradient animal print manicure which the girl from
LuvMyLacquer inspired me to do. I painted my nails a coat of Illamasqua -Gamma
and Illamasqua -Radium alternatively. Then, using a sponge, I created the gradient effect
using the technique shown in the picture below. The polishes I used for the gradient
were Astor -060 Iconic Red and Sinful Colors -Happy Ending. Then I stamped
the leopard design on the green nails and the zebra design on the orange nails. Both
designs are from Konad m57 image plate. I finished with the Konad -Special Top Coat.

Create stripes using dotting tools

Hi,
Today I'll show you a new technique to make an abstract, striped manicure.
All you need for it is three different-coloured nail polishes and, surprisingly,
a dotting tool. If you don't have the latter, you might as well use a toothpick,
the tip of a bobby pin or a sewing pin.
I started with two coats of Illamasqua -Gamma and then I created thinner and
thicker stripes using Sinful Colors -Amethyst and Astor -Iconic Red.
You don't have to use this colours, any other combination will look good.
Unfortunately I don't have a tutorial for this design, but please watch this Youtube tutorial
that inspired me, too. What do you think?

I made some black dots on the pink part of the nail using a dotting tool.On my ring finger I applied two coats Matt Dull White from Born Pretty and then
I stamped the watermelon design from m55 Konad plate, with the colours I used for the other nails.

Jungle manicure

Hi,
Today I'll show you a combined animal printed manicure. I started by applying two coats of Picture Polish -Marine on all my nailsexcept the ring finger, where I applied Sinful Colors -Timbleberry. Then, I stamped the zebra design from m69 Konad plate using Special White. After, I made a straight line horizontally on all nails with the opposite colour. The Sinful nail polish didn't actually cover the green layer very well so I used Illamasqua -Allarm. The color is a little darker but the difference is not so distinguishable. On this coat I stamped the leopard design from m57 Konad plate. I finished with a clear top coat. What do you think?
