Presents nail art

Hi,
Today I'll show you my last Christmas themed manicure this year. As presents are being offered at this time,  I decided to wrap my nails, too. I started with two coats of Illamasqua -Kink and then, using a gold nail polish, I stamped the design from m65 Konad plate. After that, I took a thin brush and created two red lines on each nail. The nail polishes used were Illamasqua -Alarm and Astor -060 Iconic Red. Finally, I applied the Konad -Special Top Coat. What do you think?

A halogen light lamp was waiting under my Christmas tree, so I finally made my first highlight box. I followed Chalkboard Nails' very easy tutorial and I managed to to this. Hopefully, the quality of my pictures will improve from now on.

Santa's suit nail art

Hi,
Today I'll show a new Christmas manicure I created: Santa's suit. I started with two coats
of Astor -060 Iconic Red and then, I applied a coat of Illamasqua -Scorch in the middle of
each nail. Using dotting tools and thin brushes, I added the belt and buttons details. I finished
with a clear top coat. What do you think? What manicure are you going to wear for Christmas?

Here's another manicure I did for a friend of mine. Which one do you like the most?

Holly nail art

Hi,
As holidays seem to be coming soon, I decided to start creating themed nail arts. Today
it snowed for the first time in my town, so it made it quite obvious that Christmas
time is knocking at our doors. If you are seeking for inspiration, please check my
Christmas collection of manicures I made in the previous years, here

For this manicure I used two coats of Astor -Fashion Studio #114 and then I applied
two coats of Golden Rose #69 glitter. I just bought this one because it has green and
red particles which remind me of Christmas. As I don't have any holy design to stamp,
I improvised and used a part of the flower design from Born Pretty -Hello Kitty plate.

I removed two of the petals with a thin brush and acetone after sticking the design
on the stamper. I created the three red dots using a dotting tool. What do you think?

How to create balloons on nails in 3 easy steps

Hi,
Today I'll show you my colourful balloon nail art which I very easily created.
If you like this manicure, keep reading for the tutorial.

Step 1
Paint all your nails a white base colour. For this, I used Illamasqua -Scorch. After
they have dried, apply french manicure tips on all of your nails, exactly the way I did.

Step 2
Chose different nail polish colours to paint the part above the tape. Wait until
they have dried. The nail polishes I used (from left to right): Illamasqua -Faux pas,
Astor #070, Illamasqua -Radium and Sinful Colors -Timbleberry.

Step 3
Remove the tape and create a thin line under each balloon with the colour
you used for that nail. Also, paint a grey or black wavy line. Use a nail art brush for this.
Finish with a clear top coat. The nail polish I used for creating the line is called Zoya -Kelly.

What do you think? Are you going to try them?

Blue animal print manicure

Hi,
Today I'll show you a manicure I did using m57 Konad plate. I started with two coats
of Astor #070 on all my nails except the thumb and ring finger, for which I used Matt Dull White
from Born Pretty. Then I stamped the zebra design on the blue nails and the leopard print on
the others. After sticking the whole design on the stamper, I cleaned the surplus with my nail
and so I got that diagonal print. I filled in the black prints using the blue nail polish and I
finished with a clear top coat. What do you think?

Striped manicure

Hi,
Today I'll show you a manicure I created using striping tape.
I started with two coats of Astor -Fashion Studio #070 and then I cut 3 small pieces of tape
for each nail. I stuck them diagonally and then, using a sponge, I applied Illamasqua -Nomad
and Golden Rose #04 on the tips. I finished with a clear top coat. This is the final result.

Holographic animal print

Hi,
Today I'll show you a cute manicure I created using m78 Konad plate.
I usually don't like this design stamped over a single and simple base colour, so I
alternated two nail polishes, Illamasqua -Gamma and Astor -Iconic Red. I also applied
a very thin coat of Stripe Rite -Silver Holographic above and then stamped the animal
print design. I finished with the Konad -Special Top Coat.
What do you think?

Wild animal print manicure

Hi,
Today I'll show you a gradient animal print manicure which the girl from
LuvMyLacquer inspired me to do. I painted my nails a coat of Illamasqua -Gamma
and Illamasqua -Radium alternatively. Then, using a sponge, I created the gradient effect
using the technique shown in the picture below. The polishes I used for the gradient
were Astor -060 Iconic Red and Sinful Colors -Happy Ending. Then I stamped
the leopard design on the green nails and the zebra design on the orange nails. Both
designs are from Konad m57 image plate. I finished with the Konad -Special Top Coat.

Caviar nails

Hi,
As caviar manicure is very popular this season, I decided to create a similar nail art, too.
I started with two coats of Astor Fashion Studio #114 and then I put my ring
finger in the steel balls box so that they stuck onto my nail. I got my steel balls
from Born Pretty for $5,41. I finished with a clear top coat.

Astor -#70

Hi,
Today I'll show you a new manicure I made using m69 Konad plate.

using Special White. I applied China Glaze -Lemon Fizz in the middle of each flower
and finished with a clear top coat for additional shine. What do you think?

The blue nail polished I used is Astor -no.70 . I applied two coats of it and they offered
full coverage and perfect shine. Please visit Astor's Beauty Romania facebook page for more

Rimmel Lycra Pro -Ultra violet & m36 + m73 Konad stamping

Hi,
Today I'll show you a manicure I made combining various nail polishes.I started with two coats of Rimmel Lycra Pro -312 Ultra violet. This nail polish has a wider brush than other nail polishes and it is easier to apply the product. It has a perfect coverage and an incredibly quick dry time. I sponged the tips using China Glaze -Re-fresh mint and then I stamped the flowery lace from m73 Konad plate using Special White. Then, I stamped the butterfly design from m36 Konadplate using Astor Quick'n go -no.17 . I finished with a clear top coat. What do you think?

Create stripes using dotting tools

Hi,
Today I'll show you a new technique to make an abstract, striped manicure.
All you need for it is three different-coloured nail polishes and, surprisingly,
a dotting tool. If you don't have the latter, you might as well use a toothpick,
the tip of a bobby pin or a sewing pin.
I started with two coats of Illamasqua -Gamma and then I created thinner and
thicker stripes using Sinful Colors -Amethyst and Astor -Iconic Red.
You don't have to use this colours, any other combination will look good.
Unfortunately I don't have a tutorial for this design, but please watch this Youtube tutorial
that inspired me, too. What do you think?
