Go Pink Wednesday -Pink zebra nails

Hi,
Today I'll show you my white and pink animal print nail art for this Wednesday.
I started with a coat of Born Pretty -Matt Dull White and then, using a sponge, I
made some pink lines either on the middle of the nails, or on their extremities. For this
step I used Sinful Colors -Cream Pink. Then, using Stripe Rite -Black, I created
the zebra print. I did this freehand. In order that I got the lines thicker at the margin
and thinner at the center, I had to apply more pressure on the brush when I painted
the margin and less and less pressure as I went to the center. I finished with a
clear top coat. What do you think?

Holographic animal print

Hi,
Today I'll show you a cute manicure I created using m78 Konad plate.
I usually don't like this design stamped over a single and simple base colour, so I
alternated two nail polishes, Illamasqua -Gamma and Astor -Iconic Red. I also applied
a very thin coat of Stripe Rite -Silver Holographic above and then stamped the animal
print design. I finished with the Konad -Special Top Coat.
What do you think?

TUTORIAL: Create splatter nails using a straw

Hi,
Today I'll show you my newest creation: splatter nails. After seeing some tutorials
on Youtube, I've decided to make one, too.

All you need for this is a straw, scissors and
somne different nail polish colours. The splatter won't work if you use the straw as it is,
you have to cut it diagonally. The actual technique is a simple one: you introduce the
straw into the nail polish bottle and then you blow in the other side of the straw.

I previously created a white base coat on my nails and, using a sponge, I created a gradient effect
with a green neon colour. The nail polished used were Matt Dull White from Born Pretty and
It's So Easy -Hot Green. I created the splatter using a black colour. I recommend that, before
you start blowing nail polish on your nails, you should apply tape in your cuticles.
This will make it easier for you to clean all the mess.

I did the same design on my best friend's nails, but I used pink instead of green.
The nail polish used was Sinful Colors -Cream pink.

What do you think? Which one do you like better?

Cracked ice nail art

Hi,
Today I'll show you a manicure I created using cracked ice.
I applied a clear nail polish in the tips of my nails and then, using a wooden stick,
I picked up the small pieces and stuck them on it. Then, I applied another coat of
clear nail polish and stamped the design from m54 Konad plate with a black nail polish.
This is a local brand called CR which was about $1 and works great for stamping.
I finished with a last coat of clear nail polish. What do you think?

I got the cracked ice online, from It's so Easy Nails. This website not only presents
the company's products, but also is a place for all nail artists to share their creations
using the products. It is quite inspiring, you should visit it.

Hot pink manicure

Hi,
Today I'll show you a manicure I made freehand.
I started with two coats of Picture Polish -Hot and then, using some dotting tools
I created a big, black dot on each nail, with Stripe Rite -Black. Using the same
technique but doing smaller dots, I created white ones with Stripe Rite -White and
then pink ones, with the same color as the base coat. Then I created random smaller
dots with black and white. I finished with a clear top coat.
What do you think?
