Spangled Stars

Happy Fourth of July, my fellow Americans!  I struggle after a few years of themed patriotic nails to come up with designs, but after a few thoughts about new ways to do stars and stripes, this design idea came to me.  I wasn't sure it was going to work out, but I think it turned out great.  Hope everyone takes time to relax and enjoy our ability to relax and enjoy!

I painted first, two coats of China Glaze High Roller.  I then added Bundle Monster plate BM210 with Special Konad Stamping Polish in White.  I then topped with a coat of Seche Vite and waited for the manicure to dry.  Once dried, I applied star-shaped stickers randomly on my nails.  I then did a baee coat of China Glaze First Mate and then added a top coat of China Glaze Ride The Waves.  I peeled the stickers away and added one final coat of Seche Vite.

Stars and Stripes

Time for another holiday manicure. It's Independence Day here in the U.S. and to be patriotic, I am going with a "stars and stripes" motif. It took a few attempts on color combos and what worked with marbling, but I very much like how it turned out. So if you are celebrating with me, enjoy the fireworks and have a safe and happy holiday!

I first painted three coats of China Glaze Cheers To You and and then stripe marbled (aka not swirling marble colors) with Go Crazy Red and Midnight Mission On top I used Bundle Monster plate BM21 with Konad Special Stamping Polish in White, then coated it all with Seche Vite.

Don't Forget the Fireworks

Happy 4th of July!  I've been on a star kick lately, so I decided instead of stars and stripes I'd go with the bang!

The base color was a mix of two coats China Glaze Liquid Leather and one coat of Essie Midnight Cami on top.  The fireworks include the following colors: China Glaze White on White for the base and Celtic Sun, Solar Power, Sun Worshiper, Breakin', High Hopes, Sexy Silhouette, Shocking Pink, Something Sweet, Sexy in the City.  Zoya Charla.  So Easy Stripe Rite in Metallic Purple, Gold Metallic, Hot Green.  Two coats of Seche Vite to finish the mani.
