Neon Polka
I painted two coats of Zoya Haorley and added glitter from LA Splash Cosmetics in Rock Star. I used a dotting tool and first painted the dots in China Glaze White On White for a base for the neons. I then added China Glaze Surfin' For Boys, Lolita, Sun-Kissed, Sun Worshiper, Towel Boy Toy, In The Lime Light and Shocking Pink. To finish: one coat of Seche Vite.

Chevron Outta Here
I wanted to highlight my highlighter yellow. This manicure certainly did it. I wasn't thrilled that my lines didn't end up as crisp as I wanted, but this yellow was a bit on the thick side and a bit of a diva.
I first taped off my nails and painted the bottom half with China Glaze Icicle and then added two coats of China Glaze Sun-Kissed. One coat of Seche Vite was my top coat.

Summer Is Officially Here!
I don't have the patience to write out every color of every nail, so I'll give you a general list. I first painted a base coat of white so the neon would pop with White On White and the five colors used for my ten nails are: China Glaze Shocking Pink, Celtic Sun, Japanese Koi, In The Lime Light and Essie Perky Purple. Other colors that popped up in the work were Solar Power, In Awe Of Amber, Sun Worshiper. I also used a mix of So Easy Stripe Right colors for a lot of the picture detailing. Two coats of Seche Vite for the top coat.

Neon Zipper
I had a realization today that I have officially moved past the days of single polished nails. If I have a site, how could I ever paint just one color with no flair? I am sure I will at some point paint my nails one color again, but nail art is my new mission. Today's nails are bright. I wish neon colors did a better job of showing off their true selves in photos, but I've done the best I can to capture.
I used China Glaze for both colors, yellow is Celtic Sun and blue is Frostbite. I did apply a base stripe in white with my It's So Easy Stripe-Rite polish, then striped the matching colors over it. I, of course, topped the look off with Seche Vite clear polish.

Looking On The Bright Side
It's time to think positively and pull out all the stops--which, of course, are all my bright polishes mixed together. Here is to a happy week!
I ordered nail polish through the mail last week that should be coming tomorrow. I'm not sure exactly why I did it because it's China Glaze and I'm sure I can get it at Sally's in the near future, but it's an upcoming line (Up in the Air) not in stores yet and I'm very excited about some of the colors. Here is a website that has good color swatches of the line. Oh, and I got a pretty cheap price.
This marbling was base coated with China Glaze White On White
Colors include China Glaze Shocking Pink, Japanese Koi, Coconut Kiss, Sky High-Top, In The Lime Light, Celtic Sun
