Pink Rock

I've been avoiding posting because I've been irritated with Blogger. I was hoping to unveil some added flair to my sight with swatches and a new layout, but Blogger crashed a few weeks back and I lost my new design and am trying to patiently wait until all is restored. Hopefully it will be recovered soon, and until then, I'll persevere :)

This manicure was a result of having a new pastel pink and wanting to make it pop. I don't know why pink and gray make me think punk rock, but it does (and hence the name play). I like the new color and I like this manicure.

With Flash:

See the shine and sparkle?

I painted three coats of OPI Mod About You adding LA Splash Cosmetic nail glitter in Red Heart Spangle (not adding any of the large hearts). I sealed with a coat of Seche Vite, then added China Glaze Crackle Glaze in Cracked Concrete and sealed with one more coat of Seche Vite.

Melting Snow

I am so looking forward to all the snow we have accumulated this year to finally melt. I had to do a manicure that was symbolic of that. I thought this manicure was so fun (and of course, sparkly). White crackle seems to crackle a bit differently, but I loved the final look! P.S. The color is off in these pictures. The crackle is definitely white, not green looking)

I painted one coat of China Glaze Re-Fresh Mint, (mostly due to not wanting to risk green staining) and then two coats of Paper Chasing. I added nail glitter from LA Splash Cosmetics in Immature, added a coat of clear polish and then used China Glaze Crackle Glaze in Lightning Bolt. CND Super Shiney was used for the top coat.

Gray Sparkle Crackle

Sometimes laziness prevails. I apologize. I have been painting my nails per usual, but I haven't had the energy to post. Unfortunately my laziness has also transfered into pictures as you can see some major tip wear in these photos as I took them after a day of wear (but to my credit, crackle creates tip wear automatically by shrinking polish). But having a blog demands getting over my laziness!!!! So here is my first of several posts....

I painted my nails first with two coats of Zoya Harley then when still wet, I applied LA Splash Nail Glitter in Golden Egg. I sealed the glitter with a coat of clear nail polish and then used China Glaze Crackle in Cracked Concrete. I finished the look with one coat of Seche Vite.
