TUTORIAL: Create splatter nails using a straw

Hi,
Today I'll show you my newest creation: splatter nails. After seeing some tutorials
on Youtube, I've decided to make one, too.

All you need for this is a straw, scissors and
somne different nail polish colours. The splatter won't work if you use the straw as it is,
you have to cut it diagonally. The actual technique is a simple one: you introduce the
straw into the nail polish bottle and then you blow in the other side of the straw.

I previously created a white base coat on my nails and, using a sponge, I created a gradient effect
with a green neon colour. The nail polished used were Matt Dull White from Born Pretty and
It's So Easy -Hot Green. I created the splatter using a black colour. I recommend that, before
you start blowing nail polish on your nails, you should apply tape in your cuticles.
This will make it easier for you to clean all the mess.

I did the same design on my best friend's nails, but I used pink instead of green.
The nail polish used was Sinful Colors -Cream pink.

What do you think? Which one do you like better?

Glitter Gal DuoChrome -Warped teal

Hi,
Today I'll show you a nail polish from the new Glitter Gal DuoChrome Collection.
It is called Warped Teal and it has more faces, depending on the lightning. It comes
in a 15ml nicely designed bottle, packed in a little box. It benefits from a very easy
to handle brush and I may say its dry time is acceptable.

I painted my nails two coats of this nail polish and the pictures show its appearance in
different lightnings. I expected it to be a darker colour, but this one satisfies me, too.
Click on the pictures to enlarge.

If you want this nail polish you can find it on their on-line shop for $17.95.

Five Shades Of Blue

Screw Fifty Shades of Grey (wink, wink).  This just seemed like the perfect name for the manicure (that turned out to be a very pretty on my nails).

I used the following colors in the manicure, all in three coats: China Glaze Electric Beat, Up All Night, Frostbite, Sea Spray, and Zoya Breezi.  On top with Konad Special Stamping Polish I used Bundle Monster plate BM201.  Seche Vite was used for the topcoat.

2/5

Huge fan of orange.  Just giving you a reference.  I have been loving all the new, bright oranges I have bought this year.  Here is a showcase of one of them:

I painted three coats of Essie's Braziliant on all fingers and added one coat of China Glaze Full Spectrum on two-fifths of my nails.  One coat of Seche Vite was used for the topcoat.

Alternating

I did not take a lot of photos for this manicure for some reason, but just know that my right hand and left were opposite of each other.  I wasn't overal happy with the finished product due to smudging, stamping not being executed well and so on, but I was excited to have no polishes on my nails and I do like the chrome colors.

I painted three coats with colors China Glaze Rare & Radiant and Unpredictable.  I added Bundle Monster Image from plate BM219 with Konad Special Stamping polish in White.  One coat of Seche Vite was my topcoat.

Wild animal print manicure

Hi,
Today I'll show you a gradient animal print manicure which the girl from
LuvMyLacquer inspired me to do. I painted my nails a coat of Illamasqua -Gamma
and Illamasqua -Radium alternatively. Then, using a sponge, I created the gradient effect
using the technique shown in the picture below. The polishes I used for the gradient
were Astor -060 Iconic Red and Sinful Colors -Happy Ending. Then I stamped
the leopard design on the green nails and the zebra design on the orange nails. Both
designs are from Konad m57 image plate. I finished with the Konad -Special Top Coat.

Striped manicure using nail foils

 Hi,
Today I'll show you a very easy to do nail art using nail foils and striping tapes.
I started with a nude base colour and then I applied carefully the special foil glue.
After it was completely dried, I stuck small pieces of Ocean Mist foil on each nail
and pushed them with my fingers, in order that the design could imprint well. Then
I applied diagonally three pieces of 1/32 striping tape on each nail and painted
my nails with Illamasqua -Scorn. Finally, I removed the tape and applied
a clear top coat. What do you think?

Pink and green water marble

Hi,
Today I'll show you the first water marble I'm wearing and that's because never before did I
manage to do it. The idea came from the plain, white nails I was wearing the day before.
As I heard that the colours blend together the best if applied on a white base, why
not try marbling again? So I took a plastic glass with room-temperature water and
starting combining the nail polishes. I have a short tutorial on this here, check it out.
This are the shades I used: Green With Envy and Aqua Fantasy from Avon, Funky/Fabulous
from Claire's and #04 from Golden Rose.
After the marbling was done I created some white and dark green dots to complete the design.
I finished with a clear top coat. What do you think?

Caviar nails

Hi,
As caviar manicure is very popular this season, I decided to create a similar nail art, too.
I started with two coats of Astor Fashion Studio #114 and then I put my ring
finger in the steel balls box so that they stuck onto my nail. I got my steel balls
from Born Pretty for $5,41. I finished with a clear top coat.
